How to configure a SMS-Timing HDTV/LEDBoard to run with Orbits

1. Orbits configuration

Go to 'Scoreboard' -> 'Scoreboard Settings' and check the 'Enable Scoreboard Feed' checkbox.
Fill in the TCP/IP Port, you will have to enter this Port number together with the IP Address in the Fast 5 Configurator later.

Qualification:

- Put the race mode in Orbits on Qualification
- Go to 'Scoreboard' -> 'Scoreboard Settings' and check the 'Send Qualify Results' checkbox.
The other checkbox should be disabled.

Race:
- Put the race mode in Orbits on Race
- Go to 'Scoreboard' -> 'Scoreboard Settings' and check the 'Send Race Results' checkbox.
The other checkbox should be disabled.

2. RMonitor configuration

In the Fast 5 Configurator, go to 'Devices' and add the following device to the Server:
''Protocol listener MyLaps RMonitor Reader TCP''

In the 'Transport settings' you fill in the IP Address and Port number from the PC that's running the Orbits software.
In the 'Device settings', you have to fill in the Resource name (it's case sensitive) which is by default 'Karting'.

After this you run the Fast RMonitor.exe tool. Make sure the App Server is also running.

3. When changing Race Mode

When you first do a Qualification and then a Race again, you don't have to change anything in our software.
The only thing you need to do is change the Racemode in Orbits to 'Race' and to check the 'Send Race Results' checkbox in the Scoreboard setting of Orbits and disable the other checkbox.
You don't need to restart the LEDBoard/HDTV or the Rmonitor Listener.
