TV Scene kinds settings explanation

Introduction

In this document there is a description of all scene kinds that you can select for scenes and their settings during Fast 5 TV configuration. Short overview:

1. Pit counter - Displays number of Pit entrances/exits for each driver
2. Image - TV displays an image
3. Check-in Monitor - Shows the session that drivers can check-in
4. Marshal display - Displays Positioning for marshals
5. Narrator - TV displays notifications of current events in the heat
6. Personal Scoreboard - Displays times of drivers...
7. Positioning display - Displays Positioning for visitors
8. Session Clock - TV displays the remaining time in current session
9. Upcoming sessions - Displays schedule for upcoming sessions
10. Pit display - Displays participants of current race

11. Local Video- TV displays a video
12. Local Video Folder - TV displays videos from local folder
13. Local Image Folder - TV displays images from local folder

List with full details and settings:

1.      Pit Counter

Displays number of Pit entrances/exits for each driver.

Settings you can adjust:
“Delay after pit out” – How many seconds to show time in the pit after the driver crosses the pit out loop.
“Max participants in column” –  Not in use

2.   Image

TV displays an image.

Settings:
“Image” – Any image you want from database

3.      Check-in Monitor

Special display developed for Ferrari World. Shows the session that drivers can check-in. They can buy a race and later they can check-in in it

Settings:
“Time before session” – Current ahead time of the current race time. Start time to look for next session for check-in. It has to be a participants that is not checked-in yet.
“Max time before session” – Maximum ahead time from the current race time. Start time to look for next session for check-in

4.   Marshal display

Displays Positioning for marshals (with crashes/speeds/positions).

5.   Narrator

TV displays notifications of current events in the heat.

6.   Personal scoreboard

Displays times of driver that are coming close to Personal scoreboard TV location. This can be done using the Positioning system (start and end antenna) or without (time after the loop passing)

Settings:

“End antenna” – Personal scoreboard location
“Begin antenna” – When driver crosses this antenna – his personal time will be displayed on Personal scoreboard
Important notice: To be able to use Antennas with Positioning - you have to add "Positioning client" to the Personal scoreboard device.
“Begin time” – Start showing the driver X time after his loop passing
“End time” – Stop showing the driver X time after his loop passing

7.   Positioning display

Displays Positioning for visitors (the same as marshal display, but without crashes and speeds).

8.   Session Clock

TV displays the remaining time in current session.

Settings:

“Started session style” – Color scheme for background

9.   Upcoming sessions

Displays schedule for upcoming sessions.

Settings:

“Maximum sessions” – amount of upcoming sessions to show in the list
“Hide full heats” – if disabled – full heats will not be displayed
“Mode” – what columns to display: “places left in the heat” or “amount of people already in this heat”
“Delay time” – Heats are scheduled only after “delay time” will be displayed

10.   Pit display                 

Displays participants of current race.

Settings:

“Show Experience level” – If checked, PitDisplay will show experience level for participants
“Mode”
  -“No next heat time” - Don’t show the start time of the next session
  -“No overtime” - Don’t show if a session is late

11.   Local Video

TV displays a video from local folder. NOTE: not all video formats are supported.

Settings:
“Video file relative path in Fast folder” – Relative path to your video in Fast folder. For example if you have a your video here : "C:\Fast\Video.mp4" -  you have to put "Video.mp4" in this setting.

NOTE: You have to put video file on all PCs where you want to play this video

"Video Stretch" - way how you want to stretch your video on the screen

"Rotate Angle" - use this setting in case if Horizontal video was rotated vertically.

 

 

12.   Local Videos Folder

TV displays all videos one by one from local folder. NOTE: not all video formats are supported.

Settings:
“Video folder relative path in Fast folder” – Relative path to your video folder in Fast folder. For example if you have a your videos here : "C:\Fast\My Videos" -  you have to put "My Videos" in this setting.

NOTE: You have to put video folder on all PCs where you want to play these videos

"Video Stretch" - way how you want to stretch your video on the screen

"Rotate Angle" - use this setting in case if Horizontal video was rotated vertically.

 

13.   Local Images Folder

TV displays all images one by one from local folder. 

Settings:
“Image folder relative path in Fast folder” – Relative path to your images folder in Fast folder. For example if you have a your images here : "C:\Fast\My Images" -  you have to put "My Images" in this setting.

NOTE: You have to put images folder on all PCs where you want to show these images

"Image Stretch" - way how you want to stretch your imageon the screen

"Duration that image stays on the screen" - duration that each image from the folder has to stay on the screen
